It is a great place to live and everyone at the office is so helpful! Homes are kept up and management is great. They have made some great improvements and with virus they have made sure we are a safe community. I love that we have the freedom to create a beautiful space to call home. I love the friendships that we have created in our community. I’m impressed that management makes sure we all take care of our yards so that we shine everyday.

It is a friendly community and safe for walks and bike riding. WE host speakers on a veriety of subjects to educate and entertain attendees. Under UMH management, we have seen quite a few changes. Lots are being developed in anticipation of demand due to developing business in our area. Residents must pass a strict vetting process to make sure our community maintains it’s quality.
Teddy helped me find the perfect place. I find Redbud to be very peaceful. It is located close to the interstate and I can be in Indianapolis in less than a half hour. I like Redbud so much, I encouraged my sister, a friend from school, and my ex-wife to move here. They all moved to Redbud and have been residents here for a number of years.

We are happy we chose this community. Overall, UMH has no risk of losing its status as a going concern despite the headwinds created by a market poised for continued volatility. When comparing common stock to preferred stock of REITs, the most obvious advantage is their superior position in the capital stack. In a worst-case scenario of bankruptcy, the preferred shareholders will recoup their losses far before common shareholders. In fact, odds are the common shareholders will receive zero compensation in the event their assets go into receivership. Investors really are “preferred” when holding preferred shares of REITs and especially when holding UMH D preferred shares.

All in all it’s a great community to live in. Love the community and fun activities for kids and families to do. Highland Estates is a very quiet quaint neighborhood. It’s accessible to many restaurants and shops.

Once again, the low-interest-rate environment is a bonus for REITS. Low rates offer REITs the opportunity to refinance their debt at much more competitive rates. Bond investors are starving for yield and REITs just might be their “breakfast.” As mentioned before, REITs have lagged equities. REITs are just now reacting to the rally the equities markets have seen since March 2020. As REITs play catch up, investors should seriously consider participating in the potential upside. All of the REITs I’ve looked at, however, include any cash income from such investments as part of their reported FFO.
